They have been loyal Adager customers for many years and they faithfully
pay their maintenance. They are a smart company (of course, it shows) and
they know a good MULTI-user online-transaction-procesor Business Server
when they see one. Their many HP3000 computers are a competitive asset,
for sure.

Everyone at Adager was very proud when we saw the original story. We all
wish Compaq the very best as they continue to hold their number-one
position in the NT market. I am particularly proud of the fact that my own
PC (yes, OF COURSE I have a PC -- who doesn't?) is a Compaq tower. They
provided the best value and the most bang for the buck.

Even though I don't know, because I have never had the honor of visiting
their facilities, I would suspect they have many (thousands?) of their own
PCs connected (via all kinds of methods) to their trusty workhorse HP3000s.
In fact, Apple uses HP3000s. IBM uses HP3000s. Cray uses HP3000s. You
would be amazed if you knew all the smart companies that, quietly, depend
on HP3000s for their most vital needs.

Perhaps we can see a show of hands? Or perhaps you can share the names of
some of the companies you know? I would be very interested in showcasing
these successful companies (and their users) in future Adager ads.

Way to go, Compaq!
