OK, the ads say "HP invent". And MPE is the operating system that HP
invented.

IBM is giving us AS/400 ads with the guy who played Command Sisko. So pick a
(military?) leader, either from TV fiction or the real world, and give us
some commercials that put MPE up there as a solution. I kind of like Colin
Powell for this.

Or (perish the thought) HP could NOT copy IBM, and do some truly original
ads, or even just continue the ones with Carly. But make it clear that you
rank up there with IBM, are closer to IBM than you are to Sun. HP is a
Chrysler, a Ford, a General Motors. Sun is a Hyundai, a KIA.
