Have you tried a hard reset of the terminal that is the console? (I'm
assuming that the rest of your system is functioning; if not, hit the delete
for this message.) The console on our 959/400 periodically locks up - there
is nothing wrong with the system and a hard reset of the terminal clears
everything up. Switching terminals does not seem to make a difference in the
frequency (once every week or two). I can only speculate that because of the
large amount of activity logged to this console from 600+ users and 1500+
batch jobs per day, not to mention 200 printers, it just takes a time out to
relax ;-)
