Greetings,
 
     Would anyone happen to know the reasoning behind RENAME (frename) not
being able to work across volume sets?  I understand the "why" - that RENAME
simply changes to file label, but would have to physically move the
file if the new name indicates a different volume set.  But, what's the
big deal?  Since you can have groups on different VSs within an account,
I don't see it as a security issue.
     I witnessed a big software package freak because of this, and I'm
curious to know what others think.
