Additional benefits of NM KSAM over CM KSAM:
1. Single file for both data and key structures. No more broken links
between data and key files (due to purges or renames outside of the
KSAMUTIL utility.)
2. No need for KEYINFO RECOVER (not sure about that syntax) after
system failures. Transaction manager (I think) handles the recovery
automatically at sys startup.
3. No need for KSAMUTIL at all - all manipulations now done at the
command line.
4. ;REUSE option is supported with NM KSAM. No need to periodically
rebuild the files to reclaim space lost by deleted records, though
using this option does add an additional 15% overhead space to the NM
file. CM KSAM also had this option but it was unsupported (though HP
products like Toolset used ;REUSE on its CM KSAM working files...)
