Dear Mr. Postmaster:

I frequently attach longer files in MIME format to my postings. I do
this to make their reading optionally. The guy
below is complaining that in digest mode all attachments are incorporated
in the main text, maked them enormous. Please, think about a way, how can
you instruct the list server, to retain the attachment in separate,
optionally downloadable files, in archives and a disgest mode postings,
too.

There are 3 kinds of programming errors:  syntactical, semantical and mystical.
The programmers have to suck up the users just as much as absolutely necessary.

It is not my reader, but rather LISTSERV at Jeff Kell's site that
incorporates mime attachments into the digest that is transmitted to
those of us receiving the list in digest form. The digest is just one
great big message incorporating all postings and attachments to HP3000-
L       on a given day. I have no control over what is included. If you were
to receive the list in digest form, you would see the same thing.
