Frank,
As an added thought building from what you have already done and
what Ron suggested. Do you have any other printers that are working
properly that are conveniently located? If so, you could try plugging
the problem printer into the same port as the working printer. This may
at least rule out a port problem and puts the blame squarely on the
printer itself.

                Subject: Printer Problem

                Hi everyone,

I have two old HP2563A line printer that is pausing
while it prints. The
paused is about 2 seconds and is intermittent.
                Here's my setup:
HP3000/947 is connected to the NETWORK and the DTC via
T-connector.
The DTC then connects to this two line printer. Nothing
else is attached to
                the DTC's.
Nothing seems to clear the problem. I've tested during
low peak hours
(weekend), did a start norecovery, relocate the printer
right beside the
                DTC.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

                Thanks,
                Frank Salazar
