As one of the beta (alpha?) testers of Qedit for Windows and as the
provider of the Adager MemoCubes referenced above, I'll add a couple of
comments that might be of interest to the Mac community :-)
Qedit for Windows ALSO runs like a charm on my Macs under VirtualPC.
VirtualPC is an emulator that runs Windows 95 as a small program that loads
quite quickly and uses small memory & disk footprints (no mean
accomplishment by the Mac programmers who developed VirtualPC).
For Denys's and Joe's happiness, VirtualPC even displays the "Microsoft
Internet Explorer" banner :-) Not that I use MSIE, of course, because I
find Netscape much better, with all due respect.
VirtualPC comes, in addition to its own CD, with a fully licensed Windows
95 CD with all of Microsoft's official stuff. So, VirtualPC is, as its
name implies, a virtual machine implemented on the Mac that fools Windows
into thinking it is an Intel clone (with all the trimmings, including CD,
network, printers, you name it...). It's really weird to be able to get
primitive DOS prompts on a Mac! Of course, I can easily switch (and
copy/paste) among the Mac operating system, Tenon's Unix system, and the
Mac system... All within the SAME machine.
I understand (although I may be breaking non-disclosure stuff here) that a
fully native Mac version Qedit for Macs *might* be coming out real soon
now, in addition to the version for the clones, so hang in there :-)

I am very impressed by the work that Robelle has done on its Client/Server
version of Qedit. I wish them the very best in this new enterprise.
