Of course India has about four times the population of the U.S, which means
they still have twice as many literate people as we have.

Fortunately the imported US television programs that Wirt mentioned will rot
their brains within a few years, creating a generation of a quarter billion
disrespectful material-oriented want-it-now teenagers, so this is probably
only a temporary setback for the US :-)
