The issue revolves around older versions of Reflection (ie: I have 5.20 on
this machine).

You were doing a select of a cell for copy/paste, I presume. These older
versions did not follow Microsoft standard shortcut keys for Copy, Cut, Paste,
etc (CTRL/C, CTRL/X, CTRL/V, etc). In addition, whenever you try to select
text for copy/paste operations, the scroll lock will always come on.

To turn it off afterward, press any cursor control key after you perform the
operation. This should take care of it. As for not doing it in the first
place, there is no cure. The newer versions of Reflection, from what I
understand, use the MS standards for this, and do not kick in the scroll lock.
I cannot speak authoritatively on this, but this is what I'm told.

Until I upgrade - if I upgrade as I have no reason to do so at this time, I
live with the problem, and it dosen't cause me undue troubles (except when I
forget that CTRL/C does NOT copy the selected text - then a mild swear word is
usually uttered :)

The only thing that will require me to upgrade, is if I absolutely need NS/VT
(the NS/VT "option" under 5.x offered at that time, it wasn't bundled, does not
work under Windows 2000 Professional - although Telnet does function
correctly). I have a termulator that has NS/VT though, that DOES work under
Win2000 Pro - so again, there's really no need to upgrade now.

Regards,
Joe
