I knew that HP-IB was NOT SUPPORTED on MPE/iX 6.5 but I figured our
tape drives still WOULD WORK. I would just keep the old un-supported
drivers in PUB.SYS.

     After all, everything has been backward compatible since day 1. Looks
like I have to order upgrade kits for my 7980XC's at work(and 7978 I have
at home). Does anyone have the upgrade kit part numbers and prices? Per HP,

     "I have confirmed that HP-IB will NOT work on 6.5.  They are not
including the drivers at all on that release. So, when the OS is UPDATED
the HP-IB drives are gone".

     If anyone has any additional input, please advise. Thanks in advance.
