Gentle HP3000 Listers,

In two short weeks, HP World convenes in Anaheim, CA. The advance
registration has reached new heights and the vendor participation has set new
records as well. To sidestep any issues of anniversary, dates, counts, etc.,
I will just say that this event will be, for me, the 15th Interex North
American conference which I will attend. This will also be the 4th one in
which I have been on the committee, 3rd one as chairman.

San Antonio '82
Montreal '83
Anahein '84
Washington '85
Detroit '86
Las Vegas '87
Orlando '88
San Francisco '89
Boston '90
San Diego '91
New Orleans '92
San Francisco '93
Denver '94
Toronto '95
Anaheim '96

For many on this list, this event and IPROF are about the only times we get
together, physically, where for a few brief moments, we sit and recall posts,
threads, flames and other memorable events in the life of this list. At
IPROF '96, I looked forward to, and enjoyed very much the HP3000-L supper. I
met some of you in person for the first time and those of you in attendance
got to see me as I really am, a big lovable teddy bear. I am hopeful that we
can get together at one of the lunch functions in Anaheim and I would like to
propose that we get together on Wednesday.

If enough people are interested, I can reserve a few tables next to one
another on that day and we can met there. If you are interested, please
sound off and I will try to keep a count.

I also invite all of you to come visit with me at booth 670. There you can
share with me some of your ideas for an even better event at Chicago '97.
Ideas on how to make the HP 3000 sessions even better. Any ideas on the
conference, or spend a few minutes to get off your feet and relax.

Have a safe trip and I sincerely hope to see you all there.

Kind regards,

Denys. . .
