Nothing stops you from hiring HP on a time and materials basis to come out
and change the model string and susan number on your new system board.

But when it comes to using this sort of facility to run one time licensed
application software on newer and bigger systems, I don't think HP will
change the model string on your new A- or N- class to match your old 9x7
system.
