I have had many reasons (over the years) to retrieve a file residing in the SYS
account. If this account is way in the back of the store tape it will take much
longer to retrieve it. All this statement does is bring the SYS account to the
front of the tape and remove it from @[log in to unmask]@ to prevent it from getting stored
twice.

In the 6.5 System Software Maintenance Manual, you are directed to backup
the system as follows:

STORE @[log in to unmask],@[log in to unmask]@[log in to unmask]@.SYS;*T;DIRECTORY;SHOW

What is the practical benefit over:

STORE @[log in to unmask]@;*T;DIRECTORY;SHOW ?

And if one does a full system backup every night, is there a benefit to the
former over the latter?

Thanks in advance,
Michael
