Does anyone know how to silence the alarm on a PowerTrust UPS?

We had a power hiccup this past weekend, and nothing we do will silence the
alarm.

We have pressed the Silent Alarm button on the front - no effect.

We have unplugged it from the wall feed - again, no effect.

Is the speaker/noise maker readily accessible so we can unplug it or something?

People are going bonkers with this thing continually sounding off.
