I spoke to my COGNOS rep yesterday, and he was fairly adamant about his
answer to this question.

8.19 is the "offical" Y2K release.

While there are patches in the 7.29.C8 version for Y2K, he indicated that this
release wasn't going to be supported beyond 1/1/99.

There, no I have managed to make a fuzzy topic even cloudier  :-)
