I have been to this area of Philadelphia a number of times. (Sungaurd's
MegaCenter is within walking distance of the Convention center.) There are
about 500 restaurants within a 5 minute walk. There are all kinds of shops,
boutiques and a huge department store (an old money place like the ones on
5th Avenue in NYC ) whose name escapes me. The Independence Mall Historic
District where the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall etc located is about ten
blocks from the Convention center. There are clubs, museums and universities
all in the neighborhood.

I would not bring a car unless I had no choice or planned to use it to go to
other places outside Philadelphia.

Board" Rosenblatt
