Having the XP machine "see" the "C:" drive from my Win98 machine was too
easy. The homework files have been transferred. Now I'm trying to decide
whether to re-install Win98 on the old machine or upgrade its OS also to
XP.

Thanks to all for their suggestions.

Regards
Paul Christidis
