From HP's Support Line service regarding HP-UX:

------------------------------------

PROBLEM TEXT

Has there been any change to the maximum file size or file system size at
10.01? What about the maximum disk size supported?

RESOLUTION TEXT

The maximum file size and file system size supported are the same as
at 9.x:

Maximum file size supported is 2 GB.
Maximum file system size supported is 4 GB.

At 10.01, the disk size supported has increased since 9.x:

Maximum disk drive size supported is 4 GB.

NOTE: The maximum logical volume supported is also 4 GB.

--------------------------------

How does this compare to CURRENT Jumbo dataset sizes (i.e., datasets with
much more than 4 GB that you can have, today, under IMAGE and MPE/iX on the
HP3000)?

Is there a typo somewhere in the HP-UX Support Line documentation? Was
there a typo on the previous HP-UX press release? What's up?
