Hi Craig,

Thanks for your replay.

Of course I was using the -t option all the time, but indeed the shell
turns this off if you use command editing mode. Turning off this mode makes
typeahead and cut/paste work fine, but puts me back in dark middle-ages of
command retyping (ok, I _could_ use the mouse now...) There's also telnet,
but that does not support typeahead yet and it does funny things to vi.
Aaarrrggghhhh ... There's ALWAYS a snag on MPE. Why can't they do it
properly to start with ?

And I am messing it up even worse... using the UX 8.0 version of vt3k on a
remote UX9 system to connect from my UX10 box to MPE. While I had vt3k on my
UX8 box, it does not seem to come on ether UX9 or UX10 as part of the standard
installation. The UX8 version still works on UX9, it does not on UX10.
I suppose I should get myself an uptodate version for UX10, it certainly
sounds like there's some improvement to be expected.
