Hi,

I've noticed that some block-mode transfers (QEDIT screen mode) sometimes
hang for about 20 to 40 seconds while I am connected to my 3000 over an
ISDN line. I'm running WRQ R1/Win 5.0, on Windows for Workgroups 3.1,
using a WINSOCK.DLL that came from my Internet Service Provider (ISP),
internex.

I connect via PPP to internex, and then use NS/VT to get
to our 917 (running 5.0). When the hangs occur, I can click on a different
R1 window (also logged on to the 3000), and verify that I/O still works.
(I.e., the problem isn't a completely hung line)

The "hang" eventually clears, as if nothing wrong had happened ...no loss
of data, no I/O error.

The ISDN line is new, and I'm using a Motorola BitSurfr.

Any ideas?

thanks,
