Here's a personal experience.
 
A few years ago I went to a user and asked for a copy of a file on
floppy.
 
While I watched, he took a brand-new floppy out of a box and proceeded
to
insert it in his drive.  It wouldn't quite go in all the way since he
had
neglected to remove the plastic "disk condom" wrapper from the disk
first.
 
He pushed on the disk a few more times then pulled it out and peered at
both sides of the disk with a rather bewilderd look on his face.  Of
course
the wrapper had come off and been left in the drive.
 
He then re-inserted the disk, which would only go about 2/3 of the way
this time, as it was now trying to compact the plastic wrapper into a
small wad in the back of the drive.
 
After shoving on the disk a bit more, he pulled it out and peered into
the
drive and then looked up at me and said "I think there's something in
there!"
 
I spent the next hour dissasembling the PC and the floppy drive to get
the damn plastic wrapper out of it.
 
C'mon Gavin, I can't believe you watched this entire act without stopping
him before he hopelessyl jammed the plastic cover in the drive!!
