Hi all,
This message is to announce the availability of Apache 1.3.9
as a patch and to inform you of HP's short-term plans for
Apache releases.
Apache 1.3.9 is now available as a Beta Test patch from the
HP Response Center. The patch ids are APCLXD1A for Release 6.0
and APCLXD1B for Release 6.5.
You must have a support contract to request APCLXD1 and full
HP support is provided for any problems. Installation on
6.0 does not require a previous installation of Apache 1.3.4.
New Apache installations on 6.0 can begin with Apache 1.3.9.
Please note in the patch installation instructions that
MPELX37 is absolutely REQUIRED for updating over an existing
Apache installation on either 6.0 or 6.5. MPELX37 contains
a tar fix that is essential for proper updating.
For those without a support contract, Apache 1.3.9 Beta
will remain downloadable from Jazz. HP support for the
Jazz version is through [log in to unmask] and is on a
best effort basis.
When APCLXD1 becomes a General Release patch, Apache 1.3.9
Beta and Apache 1.3.4 for 6.0 will no longer be available.
Best Regards,
Barbara Dubbert
The MPE/iX Apache Team
