One thing to watch for that may bite you in the backside - on 5.5 and
6.0, all calls become case-insensitive. So if you have and application
calling "FREAD" which turns around and calls the system "fread", this
call will abort on 6.0 because the first "FREAD" call is interpreted as
"fread".
