One of our data entry people could not purge a file; when I looked at the group, this is what I found:
********************
GROUP: TIS.DE3000IV
DISC SPACE: 1904(SECTORS) PASSWORD: **
CPU TIME : 0(SECONDS) SECURITY--READ : ANY
CONNECT TIME: 0(MINUTES) WRITE :
DISC LIMIT: UNLIMITED APPEND : ANY
CPU LIMIT : UNLIMITED LOCK : ANY
CONNECT LIMIT: UNLIMITED EXECUTE : ANY
PRIV VOL : YES SAVE : ANY
FILE UFID: $05630002 $108ABEA2 $000498C6 $248214B9 $075F9E4C
MOUNT REF CNT: n/a
HOME VOL SET : PROD
CAP: BA,IA
********************
The data entry operator has AL,GL capabilities; her lead was able to purge the file but not her and she claims to have been the creator.
I have set the access equal (R,W,A,L,X,S:ANY) but am wondering how this got "unset".
No one I know of would have had cause or even know how to set the permissions.
While it is possible, the application written in SPL might have changed this, it is doubtful.
This is the only time we have seen this.
We are on 6.0 Express 2+ and no changes have been made to the system since mid February when we last rebooted.
Any thoughts?
