On those rare occasions when I have known someone who had personal 
involvement in a news story, it never did. Journalism isn't that hard, once 
the editors quit sweating over accuracy. Just be sure you know which canned 
phrases to use and which ones to avoid.

It's not about reporting what happened. It's about attracting consumers, so 
the medium can justify what it charges for advertising.
