HP gave it all up when the free doughnuts were ditched -- of course, the
customers still got them. Maybe they're back -- I think Wim was still in

It will only matter if you use XLs (unless you transport the XLs
from your development machine as well). With the exception of
the libraries in /lib and /usr/lib, everything you need to run
something that was statically linked is present on the target
machine.  What I mean by statically linked is that you use
the RLs at link time and not use the "dependent library"
feature or explicitly named XLs.
