Hey folks (especially HP)...
I know the sysadmin of a company in California who uses HP Cooperative
Services (remember that relic? The one that got Client-Server started for
HP?) Well, they are using it under 5.0, and the product has been off the
price list and support for some time...
Question: If they upgrade to 5.5 (they wanted to do it this weekend) - will
Cooperative Services still work? (they are migrating to ODBC, but for now,
they need HPCS to work). My guess is that since it's not on the Subsys
tape, but they have a license for it - it probably will - but I wouldn't
want to guarantee it.
Any clues? (especially from HP) -- I'd like to give him a call and give him
some good news tomorrow (Friday).
TIA!
Joe
