My manager guru (Evan Rudderow) wrote a program called devonlin to do just
that.

Hi everyone!
 
Does anyone have a software pgm that (possibly from Interex CSL tapes) you
can run with a parm option to put your tape drives online? The parm value
would be the ldev of the drive you want online!
 
When we were on version 4.0 I used LOADTAPE. It was from the Interex CSL.
However, this pgm doesn't work with version 5.0 and I don't have the source
to modify and recompile.  Can anyone point me in a direction where I can get
either the source or a compiled pgm that works?
 
All help would be appreciated.
