By handheld, I mean the clamshell type, with the eeny-tiney keyboard. I
visited compaq.com, and did not see this at
http://www.compaq.com/products/iPAQ/. Searching compaq.com for 3670 gets me
"Sorry, there is no Compaq.com web page matching your request". The closest
I can find are some BlackBerry devices. Am I doing something wrong?
My quip about Compaq dropping models that people are waiting to buy seems
like it may have been fairly on target. I have to mention that our corporate
standard is Compaq desktops and servers. And the model that we were told to
buy for developers, was summarily discontinued, while we had some on order.
When I was told about this, internal support was awaiting instruction on
what the approved replacement model would be.

Now, while hp has Jornada handhelds, Compaq does not have IPaq handhelds.
Please don't tell that to my Compaq iPAQ 3670. I have been using this nice
PocketPC for the last few months, and I am very impressed by it. This is
the unit I have been using via wireless connection to access email and the
Internet on the plane, in the car, around the country.
Kind regards,
