JetDirect EX has only one port. JetDirect EX 3Plus has three ports, I can use
telnet to do it. However, the JetDirect EX has default its IP addr and subnet
mask to 0.0.0.0. I can't telnet to assign my IP addr.

Regards,
keung

: Since the JetDirect EX has three ports you need to set the port number. I do
: not know if MPEix 5.5 gives you a facility to do this. We typically TELENET
on
: to the JETDIRECT box or card to set the IPaddress....We use ESPUL from RAC
: consulting...it takes care of the PORT ID and is very good and inexpensive.
