No...but a few years ago, someone at HP posted a script to
comp.sys.hp.hpux that would create a duplicate directory
hierarchy with lowercase symbolic links to the uppercase names.

I'd search for "lower" "upper" "CD-ROM".

Sorry I can't remember who/when/what more accurately.
