OK, I received my issue of Interex Press today, and it has the instructions
for subscribing to SIG Listservs by e-mail instead of by web page...
- Send a message to: <signame>[log in to unmask]
- Place the word "subscribe" int he subject line (without the quotes)
- Leave the message body blank (that means get rid of any sigs you have
there too)
For example, to sign up for SIGWeb's listserv: the message is addressed to
[log in to unmask] with the subject "subscribe" (without quotes).
You will then be sent instructions on sending mail on the list.
Hope this helps those who have asked about signing on in this fashion...
For more information, see any issue of Interex Press, in the middle of the
newspaper, there's a pullout called "The Compass". Look on pages 2 and 3
for all the information on the SIGs and how to get on the listservs.
Best regards,
Joe
