Hi,
I just joined and am unsure if this is the right way to answer it or if
anyone has answered it (of course there is always different ways of
completing it).
I believe there is a delete command, but I usually use the "change"
command as in --> CQ 1/30 "" ALL <--.
this should change columns 1-30 to nothing.
ALL means the line numbers.
Q means quietly (if there is alot of lines and you do not want to see it
scroll).
