Hello,
I am using a HP C6270A scanner. Until a couple of months ago it works great.
Then I had to start the scan several times to have results.
Looking at the glass screen I saw some dust at the outside and the inside of
the glass screen. I decided to clean the glass screen at the outside as well
at the the inside. I have used only tapwater. It looks very nice but the
scan don't start.
The program recognises the scanner and begin to start the scan, the lamp
lights on but after a few seconds it stops.
My questions are:
1. Is something affected by cleaning the inside of the glass screen? Is this
not allowed?
2. Can the problem be solved by installing a new glass screen?
Your reactions would be very appreciated
