bArtoque,

we maintain all PARM.SCOPE.SYS files on our own, for billing purposes. It's
quite easy and documented in the Scope/iX manual we have. Here an example
of one of our files.

May I point you also to http://www.hillschmidt.de/ploticus/ were I
described how to create graphs directly on your HP3000.

If you have more questions don't hesitate to contact me privately.

Best regards, Andreas Schmidt, CSC, Germany

Subject: [HP3000-L] configuring scope?

Hi,

I wanna try to configure scope myself without having to call a HP
technician, wispering me in my ear what to put in the parm.scope file. I
wanna be able to add s'thin to the parameter file myself, actually knowing
what I'm doing (as if...).
I looking on the HP site http://docs.hp.com but can't find an official
document stating how to configure scope. In the newsgroup, until this
moment
I only can find little bits and pieces, but not the general overview. Does
anyone know about a nicely constucted (downloadable) document or web-page I
can turn to?

Th@nx (in advance),

bArtoque

P.S. And yes, I'm the same lamer who was bothering y'all with the laserrx
stuff... We now got it working on a WINNT machine, but we wanna show a bit
more than only the general performance overview. Individual processes
should
be logged too. Is that only defining in the PARM.SCOPE header "PROCESS" and
than further down stating what PROCESS" should be (for instance
CERTAIN_USERS.CERTAIN_ACCOUNT)??? Cuz I dunno?
