Hi Larry,

<PLUG>

Here at M. B. Foster Associates we have more than 15 years of experience in EDI
(now known as B2B ECommerce). I was involved in ANSI X12 years ago to help my
personal learning curve on EDI. ... we helped port the EDI-Windows product to
the HP3000 and the HP9000 more than 10 years ago and have been helping
customers installing it in an HP3000 environment ever since.

Our team includes full time EDI technical folks and we are looking at an
EDI-ASP as a possible business venture. We already are the "EDI Team" for
several of our customers.

We have customers using EDIFACT for international trade and are watching
ISO14662 which is the spec that brings XML-EDI into the ECommerce world just in
time for the analysts to start talking about a brand new TLA for 2001 - A2A
(Application 2 Application) which is what most companies trying to automate the
process want.

</Plug>

Typically a customer wants to hook the EDI package to the application, not just
the Image database as there are business rules that need to be followed before
you allow transaction data to be processed.

Larry, I would be pleased to assist you and your team in implementing EDI for
your site. We could startby helping you define your requirements - see our web
site at
http://www.MBFoster.com for more info.

PS Just remove the NOSPAM from the email address to drop me a note ....
