I was at SigAllbase at IPROF and sat through the presentation on ODBCLink/SE.
The overheads showed a comparison of HP PC API vs ODBCLink/SE.

Under ODBC Driver Specfic Features it lists:

Cursor

PC API - Closing cursor after commit or rollback work.

ODBCLink/SE - Closing cursor after commit or rollback work.  The PREPARE
section is dropped after rollback work.

I'm not sure if this answers Bob's question but this was all I could find.

I guess it would be nice is these overheads were available on a Web site.

HP are you listening.  Birket, can you talk to HP about this in your free
time?  :)
