Subject: FTP and port numbers
I am attempting to open an ftp connect from my 987 to a remote server. I am
running MPE/iX 6.0 with reactive patches, no powerpatch.
The remote manager wants me to connect to a specific port:
IP address is xxx.xxx.110.123
Port: 4040
When I attempt to connect using the IP I get an immediate "CONNECTION
REFUSED" message.
I can't find any reference to PORT number in the manual or in online help.
Any suggestions?
