I find the most interesting thing about this result is that we have 5 vacanies
on the board and 7 candidates (at this time). I wonder if the first 2 elected
will get the 2 'elected' positions and the 3 with the next highest votes get
the 3 appointed positions. At least the membership will have 'voted' these
people in. It seems ironic that one of the reasons for changing the make up of
the board was due to insufficient candidates.

For what it is worth - Ken and I did not receive ballot papers in New Zealand
so we were not able to vote. (And we were in NZ to receive the ballots papers
at the time!!) I wonder how many other international members did not even get
an opportunity to vote.
