Thanks for the opportunity to contribute ideas. Here is my list:
1. Expand the information content to assist manager pass audits and get a
better view of all 'external' data
sources/sinks (This would be very helpful in notifying remote sites
about network address changes).
2. Provide some means for a user with AM capability to 'view' the FTP/iX
'log record' for his account. This could
be by writing to log a file in the account AND to a 'central' log file
or by providing a 'viewing' tool that would
enable the 'AM' to see the log records for his account.
3. Improve the information content of FTP connections that 'loop' back to
the same host to include the pertinent
MPE information of the job/session originating the FTP connection.
4. Re-instate the capability of refusing a connection if the specified MPE
user does not have a password.
(This is the feature that was being enabled by ";INFO='password'" in
the 5.5 version of the OS)
