ORBiT is using VisualCafe as the development IDE. We've successfully tested
ODBC and Mike Yawn's TurboIMAGE class library interface. We're thinking about
testing JDBC and perhaps ADBC, but we're not sure about those, yet.

VisualCafe with ODBC worked immediately out of the box but requires Symantec's
data base engine running on a PC. Mike's class library is a foundation that
also worked, but probably needs enhancement (which we may undertake) for our
purposes. But, it can be a Java solution running on the 3000, and I'm in
favor of using 3000 based technology.

Hope that helps!
