Many have offered a solution of using LISTSPF to qualify spoolfiles using
the SELEQ parm. When satisfied that the selection criteria is good, change
it from LISTSPF to SPOOLF and add ;DELETE.
I like the following method just a little bit better for two reasons. First,
there are less keystrokes. Second, you are less prone to errors.
Use SPOOLF ;SHOW in place of LISTSPF to qualify the files and then add a
;DELETE when you are done.
:SPOOLF o@;seleq=[date<12/15/98 and filedes=$stdlist];show
...
:REDO SPOOLF
SPOOLF o@;seleq=[date<12/15/98 and filedes=$stdlist];show
>;delete
SPOOLF o@;seleq=[date<12/15/98 and filedes=$stdlist];show;delete
