We are in the process of placing an HP3000 to a newly acquired site.
Security has determined that the LAN at the new site is not secure enough
and will only allow communications between the remote site's LAN and our WAN
through a fire wall. We have established a 'beach head' extending our WAN
into a small segment of the new site and that is where the HP will be
placed, however most of the users will be on the 'unsecured' side of the
fire wall. A set of procedures have been established to allow 'authorized'
users access to the HP but we are having problems 'routing' their output to
their printers.

Is anyone aware of a method/solution that would enable us to print through
the fire wall?

TIA

Paul H. Christidis
