*do* take the timeto evaluate buying new disc to go with this hotrod. the peace-of-mind that the va7100
provides is worth it alone (at least imo :-). another way to look at it is -- you're all gussied up in a
brand new suit but wearing scuffed-up, 10-year-old shoes. definately a fashion (or computer) faux pas!
:-) *and* with 7.5 -- you can run fibre channel. goody goody goody :-) fibre channel speed is something
else (especially compared to scsi).
oh -- don't be afraid to put memory into it either.
