Look for the PCL@ files in HPENV.SYS. I believe you can use this on the file
equates when you print to the printer. What we did was setup a printer device
for each type of printing mode. For example, portrait normal print is Ldev 1000,
condensed is 1100, with the env file defined in the NPCONFIG. This may not be
the best way, but works in our case.
1000 (network_address = xxx.x.x.56 # IS dept NMIS02
pjl_supported = FALSE)
1100 (network_address = xxx.x.x.56 # cond print
setup_file = LJ5COND.HPENV.SYS
pjl_supported = FALSE)
The LJ5COND.HPENV.SYS is nothing more than a text file with the escape
sequences. Hope this helps.
