Hi all,
Below is a snippet from the Interex website reporting the results of the
Interex Special Election:
"Ballots for the Special Election were mailed on June 21, 1999 to all paid
members as of June 14, 1999. The ndependent auditor received a total of 638
ballots representing 11% of the membership (vs. 9.5% for the invalid 1999
Board election). The number voting FOR the amendment was 469 or 73.5% of
the total. The number voting AGAINST the amendment was 169 or 26.5%.
Passage of the amendment results in two elected positions and three
appointed positions being open for the Year 2000 Board. Seven members have
declared their candidacy for election to that Board."
