Here's our setup with respect to printing
HOST==       HP 3000/987 on mpe/ix 5.0 PP ???
CLIENTS ==   WIN 95 (printing from DOS as well as ICON printing)

Note: you need to mknod to enable HP 3000 printers to be seen in Posix.

Looking for printer rlp in printcap file /etc/printcap
Printer name rlp is valid.
