Needless to say, this made the Macintosh rounds months ago. Here's a link
to a more complete quote, which tallies (so far as I can tell) with what
I read on the original site. I think I saved the whole thing on my

Great fun, in a pathetic sort of way. But it's a useful reminder of how
Clarke's Law can have distressing consequences. Computers can do
anything, and the Internet knows everything, and it's all magic and
dangerous and mysterious.
