Thanks to all who responded to my message. I received more help than
I wanted! :-)
I can't believe that MS did not include a way within standard WIN95
to copy large files across multiple floppy diskettes. I wanted to
use WIN95 because that is what the end-user is familiar with. I can't
go to their site (remote from us) and install any software, and I
don't know if MS Backup is installed on the machine or if the end-user
knows how to use it.
What the end-user wanted to do was to make copies of some files as of
fiscal year end (9/30/1998) so they could refer to them later if need
be. I told them to either back the files up to the internal tape
drive (using CMS backup software) or to make a new folder (didn't
folders use to be directories?) called FY1998 and copy the files
to there or both.
Anyway, thanks to all who responded.
